Yes. All price data comes directly from the official reports published by Brazil's National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP), updated every 4 weeks. iPostos is not affiliated with this federal agency.

Is the app free?

Yes, iPostos is free and includes a price comparison tool, interactive map, and Flex Fuel calculator. The Pro version offers additional features such as favorite stations, custom stations, and iCloud sync through a one-time purchase — no subscription required.

How does the Flex Fuel calculator work?

The Flex Fuel calculator compares the price of ethanol to gasoline using the 70% rule: if the ethanol price is less than 70% of the gasoline price, ethanol is the more economical choice. iPostos performs this calculation automatically for each gas station.

What is the ANP?

ANP (Agência Nacional do Petróleo, Gás Natural e Biocombustíveis) is Brazil's National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency. It is a federal regulatory body responsible for overseeing Brazil's fuel market, including publishing official price surveys from gas stations across the country. Their open data is publicly available at gov.br/anp.
